In 1952 the All Star game was called after the 5th inning due to rain. This game set the record for the shortest All Star game in history. It was a close game with players like Stan Musial, Jackie Robinson, and Roy Campanella playing for the National League and players like Yogie Bera, Hank Hauer, and Eddie Robinson playing for the American League. But the National League won over the American League 3-2.
