Preacher Roe was dedicated to keeping in touch with Mozee, his wife, whenever they were apart. In 1940 he was at the St. Louis Cardinal training camp in Florida. This is just one of many postcards he sent her that year. Mozee Roe was known to collect these personal correspondences and treat them as special gifts from Preacher.
The back of this postcard reads:"Dearest, Thought you would like a picture of our park on this card. I'm fine but I wish I could see someone and you can guess who. Love, Elwin"
